MAYORAL CANDIDATE FILNER SPEAKS AT EAST VILLAGE FORUM April 20, 2012
The race for the San Diego mayor’s office is heated up Friday as the June 5 primary approaches.
Carl Demaio, Bonnie Dumanis, Bob Filner and Nathan Fletcher participated in a forum hosted by the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and the East Village Association Friday and it didn’t take long for the candidates to drop the pleasantries.
“I’ve asked Carl at every debate to show me how one nickel from [his] referendum goes into the general fund,” Filner said.
